Amy Ouellette was a stay-at-home mom for 10 years and returned to college in September 2011 in a quest to finally earn her bachelor’s degree in communications.

During her time at Salem State University, Amy was an ambassador for the school, engaging in extracurricular activities for the Communications department and for the university. She was a winner of a Bronze Bell Ringer award for a public affairs campaign from the Publicity Club of New England in 2012, the winner of the PRSA Boston student scholarship in 2012 and a Silver Key senior award recipient at Salem State for her leadership and accomplishments. During her last semester at the university, Amy was featured in the “Find Your Passion” branding campaign in print, web and television ads.

Amy graduated in May 2014 and was hired as a marketing associate for a hospice and palliative care agency shortly after graduation. She is currently the sales and marketing communications coordinator for a fundraising marketing agency. She’s the mother of two boys and lives on the North Shore with her husband, sons and dog. When she’s not working, doing laundry or going to her boys’ sporting events, she likes to read and exercise.
